Group14 Engineering is seeking Building Energy Engineer Project Manager. This is a hybrid position; you can work from the office and home after you’ve completed onboarding in the office for the first several months. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with building energy performance of commercial and multifamily buildings (3-5 years)
  • Management over multiple projects at one time
  • Energy modeling of commercial and multifamily buildings
  • Energy code and green certification knowledge with experience demonstrating compliance (IECC, IMC, IBC, ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 189, ASHRAE 62.1, LEED, Green Globes, CHPS, NGBS)

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Energy modeling with OpenStudio/EnergyPlus, eQuest, or other similar tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through personnel and client relationships
  • Registered Architect (AIA) or Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Undergraduate degree in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited program


  • Deliver building energy consulting services for commercial and multifamily buildings
  • Model energy, daylighting and thermal performance of buildings and building assemblies
  • Collaborate and work with clients, design team, contractors, and their representatives.
  • Proficiency with internal project management tools
