Group14 Engineering is seeking an Embodied Carbon & Materials Specialist to support and grow our carbon consulting services.  This is a hybrid position after you’ve completed training in the office for the first several months. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid working understanding of and passion for sustainable building concepts 
  • 2+ years of experience with commercial building design and construction projects
  • Experience with reviewing construction drawings and/or construction submittals
  • Familiarity with Revit and OneClick LCA or other LCA tools
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products and Google G Suite

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience working directly in Revit
  • Experience with GHG accounting methodologies, including Scope 3 emissions
  • LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate
  • Undergraduate degree in sustainability, environmental or building science, architecture, construction management, related field, or equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Whole Building Life Cycle Analysis modeling
  • Low carbon materials research, consulting, and specification guidance
  • Reviewing building design documents and construction submittals 
  • Material review and documentation for third party certifications such as LEED and WELL
  • Support Project Managers in delivering sustainable design strategies for commercial projects
  • Greenhouse Gas Inventories
