Group14 Engineering is seeking an entry-level Sustainability Consultant. This is a hybrid position, allowing you to work from the office and home after you’ve completed onboarding in the office for the first several months. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two+ years of experience in sustainable design and/or green building certification (ex. LEED)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products and Google G Suite
  • Motivated and detail oriented

Other Desired Qualification:

  • Strong background with commercial buildings, especially affordable housing and/or schools. 
  • LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate
  • Undergraduate degree in sustainability, environmental or building science, architecture, construction management, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with and interest in the social factors of sustainability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in delivering sustainable design strategies for commercial projects.
  • Review building design documents and construction submittals.
  • Conduct context analysis and research for projects including social determinants of health, stakeholder engagement, health impact studies, and climate hazard/resilience assessments.
  • Develop tools, templates, and policies around sustainable design and management practices.
  • Prepare green building certification documentation
