Sustainability Team – Sustainability Consultant

Group14 is seeking a mid- to entry-level Sustainability Consultant with a wide breadth of technical knowledge and drive to help our Sustainability Team constantly improve.

Your Expertise

• 2+ years of experience in sustainable design and/or green building certification (ex. LEED) and/or strong practical background with commercial buildings
• Competency with Microsoft Office products and Google G Suite
• LEED Accredited Professional or Green Associate 
• Undergraduate degree in sustainability, environmental or building science, architecture, construction management, related field, or equivalent experience
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate complicated ideas to audiences with various levels of knowledge on topics
• Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with teammates, clients, and other outside third parties

How You Will Contribute

• Support Project Managers in delivering sustainable design strategies for commercial projects
• Review building design documents and construction submittals
• Work directly with contractors throughout construction
• Prepare green building certification documentation for LEED, WELL, Fitwel, CHPS and other certification programs
• Maintain project budgets with the oversight of a project manager
