The General Services Administration initiated a retro-commissioning project of the Byron Rogers Courthouse, located in Denver, CO, with the objective of improving the building’s operational efficiency and lowering operating expenses. The 283,839 SF building is home to the 10th Circuit District Appellate Court and consists of courtrooms, offices, and administration areas. Group14 deployed SkySpark software to evaluate over 260 pieces of equipment over multiple seasons. Our team also implemented improvements to quickly realize energy savings and correct comfort issues.
Retro-commissioning of this federal courthouse uncovered hundreds of zone level issues. We recommended energy conservation opportunities and repairs with estimated annual savings of $17,612 and a reduction in energy intensity of 20%.
