Group14 uses energy modeling tools to assess the building energy performance and make energy efficiency recommendations with respect to the envelope, lighting, mechanical systems, controls and process energy consumption. Auditing services are customized to the client’s goals and include ASHRAE Level I, II, and III audits.

Group14 has extensive experience helping clients decide where to focus their efficiency efforts. This includes verifying and tracking progress over time and monitoring the long-term performance of buildings to identify improvements. Group14 analyzes utility data and establishes benchmarks to provide Measurement & Verification, tracking ongoing energy and water savings.

• We have developed sophisticated M&V analytics using SkySpark software with hour-of-the-week regressions to calculate energy savings in near real time.
• Group14 performs annual M&V services for Energy Performance Contracts that cover over 15,000 units of public housing. We hold M&V contracts for over $30,000,000 in utility budgets.
• Group14’s M&V efforts undergo federal review on an annual basis, with zero problems identified since this work began in 2012. 

Group14 produces utility allowances for a variety of clients, capturing monetary benefits associated with in-unit, energy-efficient investments. We have in-depth experience with consumption and engineered allowance calculation methodologies, including several types of energy modeling software (eQuest, REM/Rate, Energy Plus, etc).
