Multifamily Team – Energy Engineer
Group14 is seeking an Energy Engineer with a wide breadth of technical knowledge and drive to join our Multifamily Housing team in support of our mission.

How You Will Contribute
- Support energy projects with review of building documentation, utility analysis, Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) savings calculations, and report writing.
- Execute field work to review equipment operation, quality installation verification, perform energy audits, and test building envelope system performance.
- Perform other general analysis and report writing for projects including portfolio decarbonization and emissions studies.
Your Expertise
- 1-4 years of experience with multifamily and commercial buildings, preferably with experience in energy services, commissioning, MEP design, controls, or other related consulting
- Physically located in the Denver metro area with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Undergraduate degree in engineering and related credentials are a plus such as Engineer in Training (EIT), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or other related certification
- Working knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, commercial HVAC, and building control systems preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills for engineering calculations
- Strong technical writing skills for report deliverables
- Ability to tackle multiple tasks, prioritize, and perform work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with teammates, clients, and other outside third parties
