Group14 has conducted sustainability consulting, LEED certification, energy modeling, commissioning and re-commissioning for over 175 office projects
Including 1800 Larimer – Xcel Energy’s Headquarters (double LEED Platinum), 1400 Lawrence, 999 17th Street, 1900 16th Street, 1670 Broadway and the Denver Union Station North and South Buildings. Many of the projects participated in Xcel’s Energy Design Assistance Program and received incentives that average $0.4/SF. Group14 is exploring electrification for office buildings as well and has successfully worked with a project in Denver to arrive at a rooftop unit solution that is efficient and keeps utility costs down.
Our own office building achieved LEED Platinum Certification in 2010. We have been certified Platinum under LEED O&M since 2017– renewing our certification every three years. In 2020, we earned a Platinum score of 87, making our office the highest scoring LEED O&M project in Colorado and in the top 1% in the nation.
