Multifamily Team – Energy Design Engineer- Project Manager

Group14 is seeking a Energy Design Engineer – Project Manager with a wide breadth of technical knowledge and drive to help our Multifamily Housing team constantly improve.

How You Will Contribute

• Oversee and execute energy and decarbonization projects including utility analysis, field work, measure identification, savings calculations, and report writing.
• Manage all aspects of building energy projects from contract execution through verification/commissioning including client relationships, project financials, project deliverables, and tasks assigned to support staff.
• Collaborate and work with clients, building teams, contractors, and their representatives
• Maintain relationships with clients; assist in the development of proposals and business development pursuit

Your Expertise

• 4-8 years of experience with commercial buildings, preferably with Project Management experience in MEP design, energy services, commissioning, controls, or other related consulting
• Working knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, commercial HVAC, and building control systems
• Competency with Microsoft Office and G-Suite/Google Apps with strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience developing energy efficiency projects including calculations and reports
• Physically located in the Denver metro area with the ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• Undergraduate degree in engineering from an accredited program
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE), or Engineer in Training (EIT)
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or other related energy credential is a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate complicated ideas to audiences with various levels of knowledge on topics
• Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with teammates, clients, and other outside third parties
